<p>It&#8217;s gimmicky.  People love gimmicks.  Just look at the <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=purple+band-aids">purple band-aids</a> that Republicans wore in 2004.  Sure the stamps won&#8217;t denigrate the service of every purple-hearted veteran but that&#8217;s okay.  We&#8217;ll leave that to the Republicans.</p>
