This is a short tutorial on the perspective tool in Illustrator but I'm bookmarking it for the über handy tip on masked blurs in Photoshop. Skip halfway down to where he imports the art into Photoshop and check that one out.
Cool use of CSS transitions to reveal additional information. You could argue that this sort of thing doesn't belong in the presentation layer--and you might be right--but you can't deny it looks sexy. And since you don't always have the benefit of a Javascript programmer, it's kind of nice to have options.
From Design Shack. I think I might just start pointing non-designers to this page when they're designing flyers, slide decks, brochures, etc. It boils down to "put text on a grid and use large graphics" but they just do a great job of explaining it and, as the 4th commenter noted, it's a lot better than the typical Microsoft Word catastrophe.
