Brands of the World offers free vector logos. It's ridiculous that you have to go to a 3rd party site to find the logo for a company you're doing design work for because all the marketing person who hired you can send is a low-res, 200px JPG that's been squished and has more artifacts than actual good pixels.
I don't consider this to be particularly useful because free graphics will be over-used and it'll be difficult to create something unique with them. I also think we're on the downward slope of the trend curve for sketchy, illustrated websites.
What I do find useful though is just the structure for the boy vector character and girl vector character. Those two files provide a nice blueprint for how to create your own illustrated character that you can use over and over again.
